Ashida Mana my Favourite Actress and Singer

Ashida Mana is a Japanese child actress, Tarento and singer from Hyogo Prefecture. She is currently represented by JobbyKids Agency.

Mana Ashida first acted Asahi broadcasting Corporation's ABC Short Movie 2, though she rose to prominence only after she starred in the popular television drama Mother. She later became the youngest lead star in Japanese drama history when she starred in the special drama Sayonara Bokutachi no Youchien. She is also the youngest lead actress when she starred in a television serial drama when she acted in the serial drama Marumo no Okite on the spring of 2011. Furthermore, she starred in Japanese films such as Confessions and Usagi Drop.

In addition, Mana Ashida and her co-actor Suzuki Fuku sang the 2011 hit song Maru Maru Mori Mori, the theme song for the television drama Marumo no Okite.

Mana Ashida revealed that she looks up to the K-pop group KARA. She lists her favorite foods as cucumber, fried vegetables, Sukonbu and Kameni and she dislikes eggplants, pumpkin and milk (Revealed on Shabekuri television show). She also said that she was "hooked on cycling a unicycle". Another interest of hers is reading.

She received a number of awards:

• 34th Japan Academy Awards: Rookie Of The Year for Ghost in Your Arms (2011). 

• 4th Tokyo Drama Awards: Special Award for Mother.

• 65th The Television Drama Academy Awards: Best Newcomer for Mother.

• 14th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix: Best Supporting Actress for Mother.

• 2011 Tokyo Drama Awards: Best Performance by an Actress for Marumo no Okite and Sayonara Bokutachi no Youchien.

Why do I really like Ashida Mana ? Simply because she's cute! Well, I was charmed by her since the first time I saw her acting in Marumo no Okite. Selain cute, I like Mana-chan bcoz' suara die tegas and I think that reflect her personality in the future bile die dah besar nanti; seorang yg tegas, garang skit dan comel. Ganbare Mana-chan! :D
